TEXAS
In Texas, our advocacy team played a pivotal role in shaping Senate Bill 2024, a proposed vaping regulation, during the 89th Legislative Session (2025).
By educating lawmakers on the risks of certain provisions, we demonstrated that the original bill language could favor large tobacco companies, potentially creating a monopoly by imposing restrictive compliance requirements that disproportionately burdened smaller, independent vaping manufacturers.
Through strategic engagement with a bipartisan coalition, our team successfully blocked the bill’s monopolistic provisions. Instead, we advocated for amendments that prioritized fair competition and supported U.S.-based vaping manufacturers.
